I want to install a below deck fish hatch in the 21 Sangster hardtop I am restoring. How do I make the hatch supports that will allow rain water to drain to bilge rather than into the fish box? Do I make up a mold and do a fibreglass layup or just make them out of wood and then chop strand to seal? What is the best strategy to position them so the hatch ends up flush to the deck and level? Any advice or pics would be most appreciated.
Thanks, Alan

Re: Flush deck hatch

Got pics ? ..

Basically if you want a flush mount hatch that is not completely sealed up..then your doing the glass forming with scuppers and drains.

It do a Sealed fit hatch and leave the tubes out of it :) .
