i think no matter what you use if the motor is not on you have to control the flow of the water if the boat is in the water<br /><br />only flow x going to gravity drain out the exaust with out backing up to the elbows with the motor off<br /><br />tommays

I took her out of the water for winter storage. Will install flushpro in spring. Who knows, maybe there will be something more improved by that time and priced less then Guardian :) <br />I asked mechanic at the marina about possible damage on the impeller while flushing with flushpro. The answer was - "It will not cause any problems". Impeller running dry will casue impeller to burn the rubber, but in the case of flushpro, it will run with water. It will kep drawing water up to the point where flushpro is installed. Backpressure is not a problem here.
