flywheel removal update

I have 1 1996 200hp evinrude it took 4 days to get it off and one broken balancer but after buying a new harmonic puller and tightening the bolts till they almost snapped i let it sit in PB blaster for the three more days yesterday i tappped lightly for about 2 minutes on the balancer shaft and BAMM popped right off patience is the key in getting these beast off

Me too. Should be off of there in a minute or less. But then I'm retired now, so I can go slower. Ahhhh, peace.

Just outta curiosity, what size bolts did you guys use on the puller to get that thing off? I ended up haveing to use 8mm 1.25 bolts. the threads on the non-metric bolts were too course for my flywheel
