Changing to a 17p stainless would be like putting on an alum.19p.
Go with a 15p stainless if your gonna spend lots O $$$

So jets are good. Prop is working great. But the engine seems to run a bit rough. Especially when hot. And when I'm going flat out its missing quite a bit. Am I safe to assume either a coil or brain box is on its way out? #3 spark plug is pretty clean compared to the other three being brownish.

A clean spark plug indicates at least two things, one there is water intrusion resulting in "steam cleaning" of the cylinder hence the spark plug becomes clean as a whistle; second, no fuel-oil mix is getting into the cylinder hence no trace of combustion.
