So i took my bayliner trophy out and it was running good for like 5 minutes, then it just shut off. I waited like 2 minutes and it started back up. shut off again after several minutes. I replaced the fuel bulb and it ran the same but when it shut off i can't get it to idle or run over 3000 rpm.

Do a compression test on all four cylinders.

i would test the compression like Frank said - you can borrow those from autozone for just a deposit down.

here is a link to the fuel pump - i don't know what year you have - I imagine they are different for different years of the force 120.

Check for an obstruction. Possilby in the tank. You get fuel for a short time then starves. Sounds like a loose obstruction that's getting sucked up by the fuel intake tube in your tank.

Ok, found the fuel hose. Blew thru it and put sea foam in tank. Also changed spark plugs. I pulled the fuel pump off. It looks good.

I started it and it idled good then started leaking fuel through side of carb and also through the brass tube on the intake of the carb. Im pretty sure it was only the top carb though not the bottom.

Sounds like the needle valve in the carburetor is not shutting off the flow of fuel into the fuel bowl when it fills up to the proper level. This could be caused by:
1. Bad needle valve.
2. Piece of crud stuck between the needle valve and seat holding the needle valve open.
3. Float level set too high.

To prevent stuff from getting into the carburetor and messing up the needle valve, you can install an inline fuel filter between the fuel pump and carburetors if you don't already have one.
