I am looking to purchase a 1997 bayliner capri with a 120hp force motor. The seller says that he had it winterized and it needs to be summerized before we take it on the water. Is there anything that needs to be done to an outboard motor before using it?

drdoss <br /><br />If it was properly winterized, then you should be good to go in the spring. Might want to throw a set of new spark plugs in it for the season. Also be sure the lower unit lube was changed in the fall. If not, now would be a good time to do it. Make sure the battery is in good shape and fully charged. Then fire it up.
