Force 125 Carb needle seat? Where do you get this?

I took apart the carbs today (on my 187 125) and as I was spraying and soaking, the little green o-ring in the bottom carb needle seat deteriorated. I have contacted all the outboard parts places I can find on the net and no one has the tap in seat or the little green o-ring. They all tell me that part has been discontinued. They all want to sell me a screw in seat (not much help).

My NAPA man also can't get the part for my 125HP, but did find a carb kit for a 90HP which shows a little green o-ring. Do the parts from 90HP engines interchange? I know some do.

If anyone has any ideas where I can get a new seat or an o-ring the correct size I would appreciate it. All the auto places I've been have an o-ring too small and 1 too large, but neither fit the bill.

Was planning to be on the lake on Sunday, but that will be on hold indefinitely if the part is not available. Are there any other carbs that fit on a Force 125 that could be retrofitted to fit.

Thanks in advance.

So is the "O" ring actually used to seal the needle when closed? If so then you don't need the actual seat per say, but a very small "O" ring to install. If you have the old one, even deteriorated, you can use that to get an idea what size you need. "O" rings can be purchased by sizes for both the outside diameter and inside opening diameter and then the thickness. So visit some "O" ring websites and see if you can size one up from their inventories. Usually the needle has a rubber tip. But it sounds like you have a tapered needle and the "O" ring does the sealing...

The o ring does the sealing. The old one is a pile of mush. I've been scouring o ring sites. Headed out to find a micrometer.

What year did the carbs go to the threaded style seats.
