hi!
I am not sure if my buzzard is working. its a black with 3 screw in the back tried adding direct current without any sounds. or maybe im not doing it right.

how do you check if it working

also after doing the trouble shooting I saw it cost 45$ for a buzzards that crazy part #merf5h043

is there any other cheaper way resolving.

I do have a pee stream from the engine but still want that buzzard for additional protection

thanks for your help

Key on,ground out the orange lead on the powerhead.
That should make the buzzer sound off.

I simply connected a wire from the battery's positive and the negative to the buzzer and it sounded.

The way jerry suggested test the wiring from the motor to the console not just the buzzer

Re: force 125 heat buzzard

Force/Chrysler will not make a noise when it starts up.
Only when it overheats.
Other brands have built in alarms for oil/ temp.

Just turn the key on,then a piece of wire, stripped back on both ends, touch the orange wire on the terminal to the engine block.
It will make the buzzer sound off.
If you can't make it sound off.Remove it and test it.
I might have a spare??

Re: force 125 heat buzzard

Take it out.
Drop it in boiling water.
It should open.
After it opens, drop it in cold water,it should close.
On one end is a number,it's the degrees it opens at.
But since it's at least 25 years old, just replace it??
Profile?? Location? You might be close to someone who can help.
