Force 125 Tilt and Trim Problem

The trim on my 89 Force 125 will not work. I noticed that a hydraulic line was pulled out in the back, and all of the fluid leaked out.
Is it possible for me to fix this myself. The hydraulic motor still runs, but does not move the motor. Is it possible for someone to send me a diagram of the hydraulics and some steps to take to refill the fluid. The manual I have does not cover this. Please any advice would be appreciated. Please send anything you can to brmoore@earthlink.net. Thanks.

br,

If your manual does not tell you how to fill your pump and get the air out do yourself a favor and get another one.

Re: Force 125 Tilt and Trim Problem

hmm, well I don't know from forces..
but normal proceedure is to put the motor at full tilt to refill it.. then find the filler plug and fill it with fluid..

if you know where the hydrolic pipe came from, why do you need a schematic??

(you should own a manual anyway, but not that necessary for this particular problem unless you have to strip the thing.)

so, put the hose back on, tilt the motor fully up, and fill her up.. then make it go up and down alot.. if its like most others, it should "bleed" itself.

regards

Frank
