I'm looking to fix/replace my valve body. Is there a rebuild kit, or someone that rebuilds them? I've been warned not to buy the new ones, they are Chinese made? Anything special I should be looking for? I'd tried sending a PM to RRitt, but not heard back yet from him.

depends upon horsepower and goals. About 20% of chinese ones have minor drips and leakdowns when new but are generally good enough. The problem arises with horsepower and durability. If you are looking for more than 3-5 years then the chinese is not such a good choice. If you have more than 70-80HP then the chinese is not such a good choice. Otherwise, it should be adequate. The good thing about them is they are cheap. The bad thing is that they are not built to last very long. Kind of like that 14.99 drill at harbor freight.
