Re: Force 70 Tilt a/Trim ~ After replacing both relays, hot wiring the motor directly to the battery to test it, taking the motor apart to check wires and brushes and clean it up (it took two of us to get that rascal back together) the power tilt and trim still won't work.
We bought a new motor and reservoir assembly. My question is this -
The engine is stuck in the down position. We cannot lift it manually. What is the best way to release the pressure to remove the old assembly? We didn't see any type of screws to back out near the ram. Do we dare just unscrew the cap to the reservoir?
