Hi,
This is my first time posting to a forum.
My question is about my force 85 engine running rough.
As background I have
O flushed fuel tank, new gas
O new fuel line from tank to water separator and new line to engine.
O have great compression
While to motor is a little hard to start, it does start every time but have to monkey with the key/choke. i press the primer bulb prior to trying to starting. Once started it sometimes idles fine, other times not so well.
When I start to go it will sort of stall so I push the key in for a second and the choke gives it a bit more gas and away I go.
When I'm wide open it runs like a top, top speed maybe around 48.
Sometimes it just bogs down when I'm trying to idle across the lake. I've pulled the screen where the fuel goes into the engine but what I've done hasn't seemed to help it run any better. Almost every time I go out fishing ( twice a week) I have to push in the key/choke to get it running.
Any ideas would be welcomed.
