I have a 1999 force outboard 90 horse. I turn the key and the starter has power, cranks the fly wheel but their isnt a spark. When i disconnect the yellow and black wire from the power pack, the engine starts without an issue. I ran a few tests and believe the problem is back at my ignition switch. My current ignition switch has 10 wires coming out of it. 4 of the wires go to the dash and the remainder 6 go back to the engine. The ignition switches that I have found only have 6 wires coming out. What is the chance that the colors of the wires on the new switch will match with the colors of the old? Also, if they don't match, how can I figure out which which wires should connect to one another?
