I have a older chrysler 1977? which runs like a dream I just keep having problems with the leg it keeps blowing the carrier bearing housing apart this is the third one and I am getting a little tiered of a 250 dollar bill everytime I hit the water. So I came across a 120 hp force 1990? guy had completly rebuilt his leg and the blew the motor up blew the head almost off so I got this motor cheap. By looking at the leg it is the same but would need to be removed just below the power head is there any thing outside of the norm I should look out for? Also will all the electronics fit on my unit?

Electronics--If your 77 is distributor, NO, not without some modification to the top of the block.

Carrier bearing housing ? Describe better or post photo. Two piece lower unit with 17 spline prop and pin drive? It may possibly be shimmed incorrectly.
