indeed. if compression is bad then find another motor. or spend lots of money. if thats ok move to spark and clean carbs replace impeller and crank it over. fresh gas too.
So do you have spark in each of the spark plugs? If yes, then all you need is to make sure you have fuel and that engine should run. You might have to clean the carbs or at least disassemble the bowls to check the floats. Do you know if it has fuel going thru? If not sure crank it over and smell the exhaust it will tell you if you have fuel going into the cyl.
