I dnt know much about motors so indulge me:)
I have a 1990 Force 35hp elec. start, and was wondering if I can use a battery charger for my battery or if the motor itself will charge the battery? Thanks

You can always top it off with a charger.
But if operating correctly, the motor should charge the battery itself.

To start with we don't know if the charging system works or not, assuming it does, it still depends on how you use the motor. If you make long runs or cruise around a lot, yes, it will keep the battery charged. If you stop and start the motor all the time and only go for short runs it will discharge the battery over time.

Depends on the charger, a good one can be left connected all the time.
