Ive been to Belarus.
Beautiful country. I understand that 26% of it is useless due to fallout from Chernobyl.
However, where is was (flew into Minsk and drove to a town called Reteska (spelling??)
Was there for about 10 days on a job in December. Coldest freekin cold Ive ever felt.
Pretty girls.
I wanted to get one of them furry hats they wear but they were expensive and most likely made from an endangered little critter so I bagged that.
Big evergreens and birch looking trees, big forests, frozen rivers with folks fishing through the ice. Good beer. Drank a bunch of vodka too. They do shots of it over there (when in rome ...........)
Cold too. Pretty girls ......... Oh, i already said that.
Just when i got used to the time and not waking up at 2 in the morning i was headed home.
Then the adjustment started all over again.
Jet lag stinks!!
