Do I feel Stupid! The speedo read 30 & after Frank's reply, I checked the intake & it had been pushed up almost parallel to the keel. Wow, Initially I'm thinking "oh boy, head gasket, compression test, 1 cylinder out, ya know - something major.. Nope, just the speedo intake moved. Fortunately, I know the sound of the motor @ max rpm & she sounded fine, so I didn't worry after the initial shock, but still didn't know the cause of the srious drop on the dial..Anyway, Thanks fellas, Yours Truly -"dumbo"
