Re: Free Cruise........

Mikeandronda,
We will be going the 18-25 on the Norwegian Sun out of Miami. I've been on the Sun to Alaska and also to the Caribbean. We chose NCL because they have large ships that do not seem crowded. The Crowd on Carnival is usually the 20-40 something party crowd. Definitely NOT somewhere I would want to take my teenage daughter. NCL is a more toned down crowd. Maybe I'm getting old, but I try to stay in the more family oriented environment. (I've been on Carnival 5 times in the past and its a pretty fun cruise, if you dont have kids) The kids on carnival seem to be rowdy and unsupervised. I can just ignore them, but they really get under my wifes feathers. But then again, every cruise is different. You will be going during the kids spring break so you should have a large amount of kids during that week.
It sounds like you have a great deal. Sit back and enjoy!!!!

Nav

Re: Free Cruise........

to me all the cruise was good for was the food. i have never had food that good anywhere. as far as the rest of it, it was okay, i did not like being cooped up on the boat. when on the boat you gotta do what they offer and thats it. well i get sick of sitting by the pool soaking up sun. and well you can only eat so much. lost to much money at the casino. and my bar bill for 7 days was 884 dollars. that was just the wife and me. I did like the idea of stopping at different ports, but they never give you enough time to get to know the place. i would rather less stops and less at sea time with longer time in port. personally i will not do another cruise. give me all inclusive resort somewere first. then i can go where i want when i want. and i wont get that huge bar bill at the end of the week. now for free heck i would go for free. just my 2 cents.
