Our family tree has scottish desenets, Sadly though I have never tried haggis. Just about did once , but didnt have enough scotch in me.

We had a Hagg at work, and she was free and willing. But there wasn’t enough Scotch in the States to correct yer vision to that level..

OK, now here is one that got by me. There has to be more here than meets the eye. Or is this bait? OK, I'll bite. What is Hanford waste? Interestingly enough we have neighboring city that is called Hanford and it has always been a source of trouble for me.

DOE site on the Columbia River in western Washington out in the Tri-cities area (Richland, Kenniwick, Pasco)where plutonium was/is produced....(Side note): It is the main reason for the large amount of conservatives in southern/western wa. .....JK

Yikes, my grandaughter was born in Hermiston OR and her parents are moving back there. When my daughter and her fine spouse,(everybody knows that a son-in-law is the lowest form of life - having been one I can attest to the attitude)came back from there with suitcase in hand thie site was just being opened. The fellow I rented the trailer from, to haul back what little of there household goods that I could salvage, asked if we were leaving because of the site. Evidently, it is causing somewhat of an exodus and forcing a lot of recruiting. <br />Are conservatives immune to radio-active waste? <br />Does eating Haggis, make you thrifty? (obligitory reference)

Beef tongue, onions, cilantro and usually green, but sometimes red, chili (salsa). The same places usually have brain (cesos) and head meat (cabesa). They call the tongue ones lengua. Lengua is my favorite, I have managed to stay away from the cesos.

Cow brain is illegal to sell over here (CJD issues) but that sounds rather good. Never had cilantro though-you can't buy anything other than normal coriander over here as far as I've seen.

Tacos from a Taqueria (literally means taco factory) are awesome and nothing like a ground beef with cheese and hard shell tortilla version. Very simple, they only differ from the previous description by choice of red or green chili and what meat. Served with two soft corn tortillas wrapped in half.<br /><br />Some people hate Cilantro. I did as a kid, wife won't eat it. Now I like it. Don't some of your Indian joints use cilantro? Thai? Yeah, Thai restaurants use it I think. Maybe. Hmmmmmmmmm . . .

I wouldnt mind trying some of this stuff..........odd foods don't bother me too much.<br /><br /><br />Can't think of anything really odd that I have had recently.....some homemade blood sausage maybe.
