Im really pretty easy going, but I can rip em with the best of them!!<br /><br />Just paid my taxes, $619.00! :D Im liking it here better all the time!!<br /><br />Of course Im Trailer trash! But that is Property and Tailer combined! Oh, excuse me, Mobil Home!!<br /><br />Dont have pictures but it is a nice place on the lake, with nice deck and all!<br /><br />Ya, got up this morning, took my coffee out on the deck, looked out over the lake and thought,(Why would I want to leave this)??? And Its paid for!!!

Investigate the change in standing timber inventory on state lands over the last 40 years or so, at your local Oregon DNR office, you can just rent a plane and observe all of the clear cuts on state land relative to mature timber. Either way it gives the same picture, I am afraid.<br /><br />Lots of fish? Yes, ideed we have had a couple of good years of fish returns. That's good. Good Ocean conditions. There is a commercial season, and of course a native season, and a significant sport season. And a managed escape goal to attempt to maintain the runs. What is your problem with this?

Kenny, I live in Hopkinton in a large cape built in 1990. Slightly under 5 acres on a dead end road. I think our taxes this year were $25.46 per 1000, and they are not the highest in the state. Towns like Londonderry, Derry, Concord, and Bedford have higher rates than we do. As you go north and west in this state the taxes drop substantially.

gaugeguy,<br /><br />Well, that could explain why my parents taxes are so much lower, their in southwestern NH.<br /><br />I didn't know that the tax rate varied so widely in NH.

The so called "wealthy" towns have the burden of paying for the school systems in less fortunate towns, it is a real mess. :mad:
