Hi all, i am wanting to purchase a Yamaha 115 hp 2 stroke, i think its a 1992 model and would like to know how much fuel the engine is likely to use over say 8 miles.
Any help would be great.
Your engine will burn about 10 - 11 gallons of fuel per hour at wide open throttle. How much it burns in 8 miles would obviously depend on how fast you are going. At 40 miles per hour it would take about 12 minutes to go that distance and in those 12 minutes you would consume about 2 to 2.2 gallons of fuel. Scary right! But thats the cost for fun.
