Fuel cooler water leak

Hello, everyone.

Last fall while putting the boat to bed I noticed some white scaling deep inside the motor and traced the problem to a tiny pinhole leak near the top of the fuel cooler. You can see it in the picture. The leak is quite minor and the engine is being cooled properly.

I tried to repair it with marine epoxy but I don’t think it’s holding well. What to do, ignore? Bypass the cooler?

(Cost of a new cooler is quite absurd)

Chris

gonna be an easy fix. drill and tap ports to 1/8 NPT and install barbed fittings. Cut off quick coupler male and silver solder to a 90 barb.
