Hello,

Can someone please help me out?

I need in inline fuel filter. The existing one is located inside the engine compartment next to the engine. Here are my engine specs:

Tracker by mercury 2 stroke 115hp
Model# 1115412zn
SN# ot463914

OEM manual refers to a part number that Mercury says is invalid!!

Thanks

Re: Fuel Filter Replacement

Take the old one off and stop by about any Merc dealer. They should have one that fits.
The old number was probably updated or printed wrong in the manual.

Re: Fuel Filter Replacement

I'd take that one out and put in an external fuel/water separator filter. Can never be to careful with today?s crappy gas.

Re: Fuel Filter Replacement

This is interesting! Where exactly would you add the filter and what would you do with the gap in the line where the old filter was? Do you recommend any certain type or manufacturer?

Thanks
