Fuel Gauge Broken?
How do I go about testing the gauge and the sender? It reads full at all times. (I know the float is not stuck)

1. Make sure all the connections are solid.

2. Put an ohm meter across the sender terminals. Move the float arm up and down. You should see a steady drop and rise in ohms with the sweep of the arm.

If the sender is OK, it's the guage.

Disconect the connector and see if the gauge drops to e. if it don;t it might be wiring or the gauge. Also ground the leed wire and see if it pegs the gauge but do it quickly so u don't burn out the gauge
