Fuel line size 1996 Merc 150 XR-1

Can someone tell me the correct fuel line size for a 1996 XR-1 150 Merc? I am running new fuel line to main engine from built in fuel tank. Old hose is missing and I want to make sure I supply enough fuel. Thanks

⅜" is optional at 90 hp and mandatory above......as I recall.
