Whats the smallest ID fuel line recomended im going to install a tank in my boat and am wondering what fuel line i can run. Lowes sells fuel line by the foot and i think its eather 3/16th ID and 1/4" Id fuel line. The 1/4"id fuel lind is thicker though. Would that be a good size to use when running from a gas tank to a primer ball near the stern? What im asking is, is 1/4" Id fuel line thick enough to feed the motor enough fuel? The barbs on my fittings seem to fit this fuel line ok.

Re: fuel line

3/8th is the industry standard for a feed line. For installed tanks, USCG/NMMA calls for A1 or A2 hose ... which you won't find at Lowes. It may be a Bayliner, but the occupants deserve quality components ...
