does anyone know what the proper fuel mixture for a 1998 yamaha 115 hp. motor is? is it 50:1

Are you sure that it's not oil injected AKA precision blend?

I thought only the 75 and 85 were mix um yurself motors. The rest should be oil injection....and that mixtures varies depending on rpm.

I have a 1990 115HP that has a disconnected oil injection. I started mixing at a 50:1 ratio but found it smoked to much and fouled the plugs quickly. I dropped it to 40:1 and it has run fine this way for 3 years now.
