Well my boat doesnt like my bow fuel tank, I hook it up, floor it and it seems to bog down, like its not getting enough fuel. Ive replace the fuel recently. No problem when I hook the reserve up though. I checked the vent on the tank its good. Any ideas?

Your saying the fuel pump has to pull the fuel the length of the boat? If so I would suspect the fuel pump.

Dave

Someting is causing poor supply. If there is a weak or old connection in the fuel line it may suck air.If it is on a typical fuel connector at tank or motor it could be sucking air.some pickup/dip tubes have a filter on them that could be plugged.I had a dip tube that fell off in the tank. The fuel line may be pinched or kinked somewhere.

I looked at the fuel filter and noticed that the out was toward the fuel tank, and the in was towrad the motor. I switched them around to the correct posistion. Could this have been the problem??
