Re: Fuel Pump testing
Another frustrating day. I bought a fuel water separator and was going to replace it to see if it helped, although I only had a few hours of running on the last one. When I opened the box there was a big dent in the side. So I took the family out on the old one. She ran poorly, barely getting on plane backfiring allot. We later limper over to a dock for a late lunch to meet some friends and I got a new F/W separator at the dock and replaced the old one. She ran fine over to a favorite cove to anchor a while. Heading to the dock she seemed weaker then started barking at me again just before the dock. Overall around 7 miles on the new filter. Could I just have that much junk in my tank? Should I put a cheap auto filter in line before the F/W separator and replace them every day out till it stops?
