Fuel Pump?

Thanks for the earlier response on the 45 hp Chrysler Fuel running out by the lower unit bolts. I did take off the pump cover and see that the rubber is torn. But would that cause the fuel to run on the inside and out by the lower bolts? Or is there more problems?

I don't know exactly which model you have, but on many of these older motors, the excess fuel was dumped, though the crankcase, into the midsection, out into the lake.
