Didn't see a fuel thread so I will try here, I cleaned my fuel tank which is aluminum and built into the boat, after putting everything back together I can't get the fuel line with the bulb to pick up fuel from the tank, it picks up fuel fine from a gas can , any ideas?

Try blowing back on the pick up tube. Make sure you don't use too much air pressure and the tank cap is open. If there is no restriction, check to make sure the primer bulb check valves are not sticking.

Also, when you blow backwards through your fuel pick up, make sure you hear gurgling and bubbling in addition to looking for restriction. If your pick up tube came off in the process of cleaning your tank your just gonna suck vapor.

The other day one of my customers brought back a boat cause it wouldn't start after I repaired it.
The wife says what's he doing back, they never come back???
Turns out the owner had turned the fuel line around and it wouldn't pull fuel from the tank, but would suck it from the carb.
Changed the line around and it started right up.

The squeezie can go bad and can be bad right from the box(tempo).
