Re: FUEL TANK PICKUP REMOVAL

Most "things on tanks" are installed with a flange containing half dozen screws and a gasket. The pickup is usually screen covered and at a 90 degree angle from the tube that goes down to the opening.

Re: FUEL TANK PICKUP REMOVAL

depends on how the fuel tank is located. on mine. the fuel tank comes out first. then the sender. it can be done (the removal of the fuel tank)on mine but is a major pain in the aft. :( on my buddys bayliner, ya cut the floor up then ya can remove it..... how yers comes out depends on how yer fuel tank is located in yer hull and what if any access the mfg gave ya......good luck.....

IF you can get to the Elbow, where the Gas Line leaves the Tank,+ goes to the Carb........

Unhook the Gas Line,+ Unscrew the Elbow.........
The Pick up Tube is Attached To the Elbow............

What about your tank vent? Had a plugged vent, same symptoms intermittently.
