Richard Pryor died today.. He was funny but also vulgar.. I still will remember some of his jokes. He had MS for years. Some of his jokes will be missed.

If you all want to know what Peoria looked like when Richard grew up, check out the Jo Jo Dancer movie he shot here in like 1985. But thankfully not much looks exactly like that anymore.<br /><br />I hope he's in a better place, cause he certainly did not look good at all for many years. MS seems like a terrible way to go. RIP

I was a college kid in 1968, and a McCarthy volunteer in the Oregon primary that we won.<br /><br />He was an inspiring and brave man, and I was proud to support him.

The thing I Liked about Pryor was that he could laugh at himself.<br /><br />McCarthy started as a Dem. and later switched to a Rep. One cannot disagree with his views on Viet Nam. We didn't want to win, although it was very possible.
