Here's a goodie I like how the mention accident, but say nothing about FIRE

The outside of the boat is in decent shape. It needs new carpeting, and is being sold without the engine. The boat was in an accident in July when there was a leak in the fuel line. We ripped up the carpet, it needed to be replaced to begin with. There was no major damage to the boat in the accident, all cosmetic. The interior in the boat is decent, the part that is exposed to the sun has some wear and tear, everything in the cabin is in great condition.

Well, the price depends on when he paid $10K for it. I bought my truck new back in 1983 for $8,800, ran it for 344,500 miles, beat it to death every day for the last 28 years and just sold it for $500. I guess I took a loss?

That may well be a super clean one owner boat??? Then again, it may be crap. That's the kind of ad I just have to go see.

The shame of it is those boats although a bit funny looking were quite stable and with what I'm betting is a 210 hp 318 V/8 Chrysler/ 270 VP setup would actually step right along
