Hello,
I bought a used FCV-582L and it seems no matter which scale (Depth) I have it set to, it always shows the bottom at around 40% of the scale I'm on. So if I have it set to the 500' depth, the bottoms shows up around 240', Same thing if I just move the scale to 100', it shows the bottom at around 40' and so on for every depth scale I set it to, likewise on auto as well.
Once in a while if I'm in water maybe under 50', it seems to show the actual bottom.
It has an Airmar P66 Transducer, used a swell.
Anyone have any ideas why it does this or is there a way to reset the settings back to factory?
My guess is that maybe the transducer is burnt out?
Any and all input welcome..
