fuse blows on motor, 140 looper

my project is a 140 looper.on the spare motor,on the stand, if I push the primer/choke too long,5-10 seconds, it blows the fuse on the motor.other than a few cosmetic things,it runs great.135-140psi compression.whats up?

Are you sure its the right size fuse in it?

a dead short would blow the 20A fuse instantly.instead of pumping fuel for 5-10 seconds then blowing.

Check the key switch in the control box...<br />It's a tight fit to say the least, and many times I've seen a short to the head of a screw for one of the wires going to the switch.
