I have seen several references to galvix (probably spelled wrong) but no mention of where to buy it. Also exactly what is the proper way to use it?

I assume you have an aluminum boat, and are refering to the product Gluvit. It can be purchase right here on iBoats or from any reputable Marine product dealer. It is use to seal the seams and rivets of your boat. Usually on the inside but can be used on the exterior as well. It IS an epoxy product and thus has NO UV protection so you will need to either paint it or provide some sort of protection from the sun for it.
