Garmin 162 lines in the LCD

I have a Garmin 162 and it has developed lines in the LCD screen rendering it almost useless. Anyone have a clue what would have caused this or how to fix it.

You LCD screen is probably delaminating. The only way to fix that is replace the LCD screen. Has it been dropped or given any hard jolts?

no hard jolts or drops, and the LCD looks fine. Just turned the power on and it had the lines
