Garmin GPS 178c

I have just purchased a Garmin 178c and have a question for 172c/178c users. I have yet to decide to buy the pre-programed Blue Chart Data card or buy a blank data card and copy data from a Blue Chart CD to the data card. This way I can use other Map Source CD data when fishing the local lakes. Question: What size data card is needed to copy a Blue Chart CD data into the 172/178?

I think that the 178C uses the same cards that my 276C uses, Ted.<br /><br />I bought a 256MB card on ebay to hold a lot of auto navigating maps and use the 128MB card that came in the unit for my Rec. Lakes and Fishing Hotspots maps. <br /><br />I have about 20 lakes (including LOTW, which requires 3 maps) on the 128MB card and still have plenty of room.<br /><br />Seems to me that a 128MB card would hold all you will be using on a trip, but the 256MB card is a lot less bux per MB.
