Remember that if Gary gets in, we will have a smaller goverment .... <br /><br />I persoanlly think everyone is taking the whole race wrong, if they could get lets say a million people to run for gov. at $3500 a pop, they could eliminate the California debt!<br /><br />The glass is half full! <br />J&L

California is in a bigger mess than most even realize. With all of the initiatives that have passed over the last number of years, roughly 50% of the spending is mandated and out of the legislature's hands.<br />Someone is going to have to go in and dramatically decrease spending and increase taxes somehow, and is not going to be popular after the election.<br />The one decent candidate on the ballot is Peter Uberoth, the former baseball comissioner and LA olympic organizer, and he is getting no press, like he is not even running.
