I have a 1986 150 Evinrude with the VRO pump still in use. I have noticed that on the port side of the engine, the side with the VRO pump, i am getting a pool of oil/fuel mixture. Causing oil accumulation in the splash well with a strong smell too. What has deteriorated? Gasket, line, or is it something more severe? I even replaced all of the zip ties holding the fuel lines leading to Carbs. Frustrating. I can't imagine it is all too safe to be running like this. If i need to take pictures i can def. do so.
