69.9 cents a litre here.... (translates to $2.72 Canadian per gallon or $2.12 USD based on current exchange rate) That's really cheap for us....

$1.53 a gallon!

Yup ... just went to the C-store for some late night munchies & they are selling for $1.53/gallon. Dang! I think they'll be paying me to take the stuff off of their hands by next month!

The closer you are to the oil rich states the cheaper it is i guess.
There is also a pipe line that goes from LA to MD, so i guess since you guys are on the starting end of that pipeline, gas is cheaper there.
we pay 42 cents in taxes per gallon too.

Just about worth getting a 55 gal drum or 2 for storage with some stabil.

I did this just before Katrina drive everything up, along with filling up the four farm tractors, every 6 gallon O/B tank, etc.
There are 30 and 60 gallon plastic containers - much safer than steel.
Go to the local full service car wash, this is what the soap comes in and they're happy to get rid of the empties. Restaurants get grease in 5 gallon plastic jugs - same deal.

Drum Roll, Please!

$1.49!

The guy that I have been posting about, is still having his price war with a guy down the street. If these two keep it up, I might have to go buy an H2!

Im from WA state and we have the highest fuel tax in the US, (Last i heard anyway) were averageing 1.99 were im at, with a few other cities lower. Either way im glad to see it down again. Specially on the diesel end, im surprised our business survived the 5.10 gallon diesel price. Its now slightly lower than when we started the business over a year ago. Sad sad since it takes more to refine gasoline than diesel.
