Hi, I have a 1988 Bayliner, Capri, Bowrider with a built in tank and a 1988 85 horse Force. This is my first boat. Sometimes I have gas leaking from the vent both when full and once when 1/2 full. I have disconnected the quick connect this seems to have stopped it. how does the gas run all of the way up the line? What else can I do its, ruining my driveway.

Re: GAS LEAK FROM VENT

preston40---It could be from heat expansion forcing gas up the tube.I saw a post on this a couple of weeks ago and one person said he just loosens the fill cap to relieve the pressure. Just make sure you re-tighten before you drive away.Welcome to IBoats. Happy Boating.

Thank's for your reply. I will do that. I thought that I was doing something wrong.
