Doing my carb kits and need to change all my gas lines both internal and external.

There are three unique sizes in my engine, but I have no idea what they are as there are no markings other than very worn "Outbard Marine Corporation" branding marks. So, just dealing with inside the cowl, what diameter of line do I need, and how much length of each would be ideal?

Also, should I just use twist ties to fasten them, or get those ratchety clip things?

I need to find this stuff somewhere too. Canadian Tire does not carry anything but the thickest of the three....I think it's 3/8. They don't have the smaller lines. Perhaps Parts Source might have it?

Motor is my 1990 50 Hp Johnson VRO as per my sig.

Re: Gas line sizes

The lines running to the fuel pump and from the pump to the manifold are 5/16" ID Cut from OEM hose part # 0772564. The lines running from the fuel manifold to the carburetors are 5/16" ID cut from Part # 0772571.

Alcohol Resistant hose available from your BRP dealer is probably the best choice.

The Zip ties that BRP uses are specifically designed for hose connections and have a curved face. part # 0320107.

The snap clamps are part # 0322652.
