I am currently considering repowering my boat, and would like some information concerning the advantages of converting from a 5.7L mercruiser to a smaller Diesel.
I realize that more than the engine would have to be changed, and once i make up my mind, those items will be address.
The boat max's out at approx 6000 pounds (fully loaded) I am not looking for a speed boat, but would like to cruise at approx 18-20kts.
Am i asking too much?
