Having had the time to read and digest some of the contents of my manual, and found a reasonably priced source of spares, I think I'm ready to start working on my '58 Johnson 18.
Reading up on the upper shaft bearing replacement procedure it seems like I'm going to need several new gaskets, O-rings etc..., is there a gasket kit I can buy that will include all the gaskets or do I need to buy them individually?
While I'm asking, is there a source (online maybe?) where I can find a list of all the available parts with their numbers, a catalogue like they have in the shop?
I can't keep going to the shop or phoning them to get part numbers every time I find a new part that I need, it's too time consuming and it must be p***ing them off, especially as I probably won't even be buying the parts from them!

You can still get OEM parts manuals for Johnson motors. Helps out quite a bit, even if you don't do all the repairs yourself. Search online for johnson manuals, and you should find a spot.
