thanks to those who answered my water pump problem. it now works. now i have an other problem. i put a new shift linkage in and i have adjusted and adjusted but i can't get it to shift right. is something special i should be doing? it's not quit in gear at low rpm but at high rpm it works good. in reverse the lever jams in reverse and the only way to get it out is open it wide open and then back to neutral. i can hear the gears meshing at low rpm but not grabbing. i know what some of you are going to say, get a manual. i have one on order. thanks for any help. dannymac
