well looks like i'll be getting into a new LU seal kit. is this a tough job? do we have a step by step procedure? changed out the impeller a couple years ago and wasn't too bad.

First do a pressure test.It could be just a leaky screw seal or the bottom screw leaks.
Figure out where it's comming in.
Then get the seal kit.
Lot's of times the plastic seals are bad.J

I had milky oil and it turned out it was just an old drain gasket. Replace those first as that is a common intrusion point. I checked it after each outing and was as clean and golden as when I put it in. Do you have any milky residue anywhere on the leg? Prop seal, etc?

thx for the reply's ! i noticed the last couple years getting different gaskets from the shope i've been going to for about 6 years. and i first noticed discoloring last year. maybe time for a new boat shop..LOL
