Well, it was a terrible day yesterday. 3 boats rafted up, 12 people, cold drinks, music, and the grill going. Stupid Florida weather...I got a bit sunburned while throwing chicken at alligators...

I can't wait to move to Vermont and go boating 3 months out of the year...

I have to say...I think the skeeters here in the sand box are worse than those in Fla. These guys freebase DEET, and when you swat at them, they grab your hand...mid swing...and bite it. Then they bring all their friends around and have a buffet. As you are slowly deflating like a balloon with a pin hole, they start singing tavern songs and having belching contests. And I wont even get started on the Taliban flies.........

Actually we get 7 months + depending on how hardcore you are. The other months we can still be on our lakes but we walk on them or drive our trucks across. Oh yeah...... we lack the gators

This past week was "shanty time"....... when all the ice fishermen are required to remove their fishing shanties from the ice.

Actually we get 7 months + depending on how hardcore you are. The other months we can still be on our lakes but we walk on them or drive our trucks across.
